When we talk about glucose, we talk about blood sugar levels. Glucose is a carbohydrate, which is a fuel for our cells. Burning glucose leads to energy for our body. We don’t get glucose directly in our food, only after the digestion. You can eat glucose, but then it has a different name, namely grape sugar or dextrose.
High sugar blood levels are harmful!
A too high glucose level is harmful to us. A too high glucose level can lead to diabetes. There is something to explain here, since we now eat a lot more sugars and have started to move less.
